Nathan Ota, Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction Honors in Illustration from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA, is well known for his awe-inspiring paintings and illustration work. His art work stared with getting inspiration from cartoons, comic books and punk flyers in his early childhood days. At that moment classical art was not so interesting for him as the bright and shiny colors of cartoons attracted him more.
Till his high school time Traditional Art was not the piece of his stack but during that time he performed very well with canvas and brush which refined his artistic ability. Popular culture attracts him most because it opens new doors to innovation. [highlight-black]During school time his favorite topic of interest was ‘Graffiti’, the sound of the constant flow of the paint, the scraping of the can against the wall when drawing, the colors, the scale, the friendships and the complete feeling of freedom were some elements which inspired him so much within his art.[/highlight-black]
