Rumoured Specifications and Features of Oppo Realme 1
Talking about the specifications and features of the new sub-brand, the only confirmed of those include the diamond black colour option which looks quite impressive in the teaser images. Alongside, one can’t help notice its resemblance to Oppo F3, launched last month in China. Since, the device is aimed at rivalling Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A, downgrading features of Oppo F3 making it cheaper in terms of price can be expected.
The Oppo F3 comes with a 6.2 inch IPS display with Full HD+ 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution and a notch on the top, resulting in a 19:9 aspect ratio. Powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor it comes with an ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The phone packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based colourOS 5.0 out of the box.
Sporting a 16MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie snapper, the smartphone supports connectivity options like 4G, VoLTEWi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, and GLONASS. A 3400mAh battery backs the phone.
However, the sole aim of Oppo to come up with the sub-brand is to deliver promising smartphone to the youth. The company aims to drop stringent quality control with 10,000 drop tests and USB tests, and 100,000 button tests. The Realme will have more than 500 authorised service centres across the country coupled with one-hour guaranteed service for select cities.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A Price and Features
Featuring a 5.5 inch display with 720×1280 pixels HD resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 chipset with 2GB RAM/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB storage, depending on the variant. The budget smartphone sports a 13 MP rear camera with PDAF and LED flash, along with support for full-HD video recording. Housing a 5 MP camera on the front for your selfies, it lacks a fingerprint sensor but comes with an IR blaster and 3000mAh battery.
There is a marked difference in the specifications and features of Oppo A3 and Redmi 5A, which means that Oppo will be downgrading some of its features to make it competitive in terms of pricing.
