Samsung announced the new tablet which isn’t for you but for the tech savvy kids and the gizmo freaks. It is a variant of galaxy tab 3 which is targeted at the kids and specially designed for them. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids has a 7-inch WSVGA display with 1024×600 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 170ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The tablet features dual cameras, a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity networking with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WI-Fi Direct and Micro-USB, has 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB. It also includes a 4000 mAh battery. The tablet measures 111.1x188x9.9mm and weighs 302 grams. The tablet will be available in only one color that is Yellow and the orange border that comes with it is actually its rubber case which is removable.
Kid-friendly software used
It is pre-loaded with plenty of applications specially engineered for the kids with the company’s new kid’s store. It also has an application manager which can be supervised by the parents, if they wish that their child should use a particular app then it is possible through this application manager. This is one technology that has been invented with a motive and as an initiative to educate, entertain as well as enthrall the kids which they as well as their parents would love. The application also has the time management software which is for the strict parents who wish that their child should use the tablet for about three hours; this is possible with the time management software that enables setting the time period for the children.
