With 84 percent of enterprises proclaiming that big data will change their industries in the next year, it seems that this former fad has become an essential part of keeping up in the business world. In response to this, many company leaders have begun to create a hybrid of on-premises and cloud-based data processing tech to ensure both flexibility and efficiency. In addition, firms have had to reassess disaster recovery in order to incorporate big data contingency plans into their decisions and therefore run their companies more smoothly.
On the flip side, big data has also presented some challenges to companies as they grow and adapt to this change. Companies have begun to struggle with managing and analyzing their vast amounts of data while also understanding the need for human input in their firms.
