More and more people travel these days, but the majority of even the keenest travellers, still hate getting from one place to another. Endless hours on a plane, train or in a car are always exhausting. So what can you do to survive it if you don’t want to stop exploring?
Entertain Yourself
If you don’t know any travel games, do some research before you go. Make sure they are easy to follow and you don’t need any props. Whether you’re travelling alone, with family, friends or co-workers, it will allow you to have some fun, bond a little and make the time pass at least a bit quicker. The license plate game may sound boring but once you’re actually at it, it becomes really enjoyable and even competitive.
Save arguments for later
It may be hard to stay close with someone for so long so it’s important to know when to stop talking. Don’t make any comments about how someone else drives, don’t talk a lot constantly and don’t force anyone to listen to your music or podcasts. Make sure that everyone is content, that you get enough stops, no one is hungry, etc.
Choose the right Music
It’s best to prepare a playlist beforehand, especially if you’re the driver so that you don’t get distracted by something you don’t want to hear. When you’re driving, make sure that the music will keep you awake and focused on the road. If you’re only a passenger, you may have different playlists – something to help you sleep, keep your driver company or something to be playing in the background while you’re reading. If you’re using headphones, make sure that you have a comfortable pair – see some headphones reviews to find the best.
